Kat Smith has been working in the professional a cappella community for 8 years. Originally from Pittsburgh, PA, Kat attended the University of Dayton and found love for competition choreography with Remedy A Cappella. Since then, Kat has kept Dayton, Ohio as her home base and has traveled the country freelancing, teaching masterclasses at festivals, judging competitions, and work shopping groups. Now serving as the Director of Choirs at The Miami Valley School, home to Ars Nova A Cappella, Kat continues to share her love of vocally grounded choreography to hundreds of students per year.
